Lady’s family photos:

Lady descends in a straight and unbroken line from one of the founding fathers of the modern Welsh Cob: Cymro Llwyd. Cymro Llwyd was born in app. 1850, and he founded a line of great Cobs. Among the most famous stallions from this blood line are Cardi Llwyd (dun, born 1931) and especially his son Caradog Llwyd (dun, born 1949), who has founded the yellow line at Menai and also at studs like Parc, Trevallion, Danaway and others.

Caradog Llwyd with a very young Peter Jones, Menai. The photo was taken at the 1955 Royal Welsh, when Caradog won the stallion class.

Lady’s sire: Trevallion Flash Jack

Lady’s grandsire: Tyhen Comet.

Lady’s grandmother: Trevallion Pearl with Nelson Smith

Lady’s very famous half-brother (in fact they are related more than 50 %, as he is also out of a Trevallion mare): Danaway Flash Jack has won all the major shows in Wales and even the biggest of them all: He won the George Prince Of Wales Cup at the Royal Welsh!!

More photos of Lady’s famous brother:

But in 2003 Lady also had a very famous sister, Trevallion Gwyneth. She is also more than a 50 % sister, as she is also out of a Pearl-daughter. Trevallion Gwyneth won the 3 year old filly class at the Royal Welsh and furthermore she was Youngstock champion, res. Female champion and even res. Overall Cob champion. Quite formidable of a just 3 year old filly!
